Please help us raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital
This year we are running the London and Berlin Marathons to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Hospital. The Royal Marsden Hospital makes a National and Global contribution to cancer research and its treatment.
This is a very personal charity to us since both our mother Jackie, and her sister our Auntie Sally, have had breast cancer which was treated at the RMH.
Since then, due to research at the hospital, they have had the opportunity to be genetically tested for the Bracca 1 Gene for breast and ovarian cancer and have been found positive for it. Katie has recently also been tested and found that she too has the Bracca1 gene. The fantastic work done by the Royal Marsden gives Katie, and others, the opportunity to have regular screening and preventative surgery to help prevent both breast and ovarian cancer, as well as provide excellent emotional support.
Thank you for supporting us in raising as much money as possible.
