So my name is Katie Gormley and I am currently volunteering for VSO. From being young I have watched my family members comeplete challenges for charity, my mum faced her fear of heights by jumping out of a plane, my dad has done numerous challenges over the years that I have watched and admired and I always thought one day I'm going to start doing this all on my own.

Now I have the amazing oppertunity to go to Tajikistan* and do charity work abroad over there for three months, once I fundraise the sum of £1500 for the charity.

This money will go to continuing the existence of this project for future young adults to go and help others, it is a fantastic cause to aid.
