Story
Thank you so much for taking the time out to read my story! I'll try to make this a quick and as painless as possible!
In September I will be attempting to complete a 3 day trekking challenge over the Slovenian Alps for a extremely worthy cause! I have been lucky enough to visit The Children's Adventure Farm trust twice now and can't wait for my third visit later this year!
The Children's Adventure Farm Trust is based at the beautiful Booth Bank Farm, a 17th Century farmhouse set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. They provide a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West.
The needs of the children visiting The Adventure Farm range from complex and severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses through to children who act as Carers for a family member, those dealing with bereavement and children who have been victims of abuse.
Each child is treated as an individual with their own strengths, likes and dislikes, disability is never seen as a barrier to participation. They welcome children from all social and ethnic groups.
The Adventure Farm is a lifeline to children who are in desperate need. They pride themselves in bringing a little light and fun into the lives of children who have known terrible hardships at such an early age.
I can think of no better cause to put myself through agony for!
Thank you so much for your donation!
