I'm asking that you will join me in raising critical funds for Gateway to Hope. This year we are turning our in person fall gala into a virtual event. Too many women, thousands in our community are facing daunting medical bills during this pandemic crisis. Too many are out of work, left without insurance. COVID has put a stop to everything but it hasnt stopped cancer. Gateway to Hope is a breast cancer lifeline, and it doesnt stop, either. I serve (on the board of this organization, on the campaign committee, etc.) where we believe that nobody should have to choose between life-saving care for breast cancer and basic necessities. A $25 donation will cover phone and internet bills, which is crucial for women with breast cancer as they practice necessary social distancing. A $100 donation will keep a womans home cool during the summer months, so she can focus on healing from surgery and treatment. Every dollar makes a difference.
