Story
Hi everyone!
Its back on as promised !!! Training has been embarked on, for a start date of the 9th of June 2012.
Thank you to those who have donated so far and carried their donation from last year. I am hoping to raise £300 for Little hearts matter charity.
THE CHALLENGE!
I am walking the southern upland way with my mother in June, this is a challenging coast to coast walk of 212 miles which we are hoping to complete in 14 days. Including some days walking of up to 26 miles.
I am doing this walk as a personal challenge and to fundraise for Little hearts matter, a charity which supports children with complex heart defects and their families. My nephew Micah has a congenital heart problem and Little hearts matter have provided support for Micah and my family.
To find more information on the charity visit their website www.lhm.org.uk/
Hoping to let you know how we are getting on throughout the walk!
