Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the 5 to Survive project.

 

I live and work in Akita City, Japan and I love it here!  I am very lucky to be living in a safe area in Japan.  I am happy to join a team of ALTs who will be running, jogging and walking through the city on Sunday April 10, 2011 to raise awareness and collect donations for earthquake and tsunami survivors.

 

The 8.9 earthquake followed by a tsunami has left so many people homeless and in need of immediate relief.  This is one way to get resources to them to help them rebuild their lives.  I have been very touched by the strength of the Japanese people throughout this shocking crisis.  This walk is one way to show and give hope to the people of Japan.
