Story
I am a student at the University of Leeds who has been offered the chance to do this challenge through the Leeds RAG (raise and give) society. I jumped at the oppurtunity as soon as I saw it was for SUDEP as the work they do is amazing and is very important to me.
SUDEP is currently unpredictable due to lack of research so any preventative methods that can be bought and given to help spot the signs of an epileptic fit before it manifests are vitally needed. My aim in this project is to raise awareness of SUDEP and the charity 'SUDEP Action' as I think it is something not many of us know about but should.
We will climb the three highest peaks in Yorkshire in under 12 hours on the 22nd March 2014. These are Whernside (2,415 ft), Ingleborough (2,372 ft) and Pen-y-ghent (2,277 ft) and in the meantime I hope to raise as much money as I possibly can.
