5 years ago we read a book called LEJOG, cycling the Google route. This book stuck with us and gave us inspiration to do our own route! So, taking two weeks, 1000 miles, 11,000 metres of climbing and celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on route (will we get to 21?!!) we are going to give it a go ourselves!!!  We will be cycling mainly canal paths, cycle ways and B roads. We have no support and  will be carrying our own gear all the way. When we get to the Scottish borders we are only half way! We will endeavor to keep you  updated on our journey.

Unfortunately we have had some friends who have had to go into Florence Nightingale hospice and we feel it is a worthy local charity to support with our efforts.
