Story
Thanks for visiting Kath's page.
Throughout her life, Kath touched the lives of many people, whether that be through her paintings, her singing, her passion for the environment, or by being a wonderful person and friend.
The last 8 weeks of Kath's life saw her grow in the eyes of those who were close to her. Her strength and positive attitude during those days was an inspiration to us all. Her life ended much too soon and we will all miss her terribly.
The brain tumour that took Kath's life was particularly aggressive. It is the most common form of brain tumour and in all cases is fatal, usually within a short period of time. I was surprised to find that research into this type of cancer is relatively poorly funded. After discussing this with the family, we decided that a donation to a brain tumour charity that helps to fund research would be the best tribute we could make collectively in memory of Kath.
All money you donate through this site will go to Brain Tumour UK in memory of Kath.
