Mum very sadly passed away on the 28th May 2012, having contracted Pneumonia on top of the Diabetes which had caused Chronic Kidney Disease. We are arranging her funeral at the moment and would request donations to Diabetes UK instead of flora tributes.

In the early 90's Mum contracted type 2 diabetes and her valiant battle with this dreadful disease began. Mum's search for guidance on the diabetes first brought her into contact with Diabetes UK then known as the British Diabetic Association, Membership followed as Mum believed the fight against diabetes was an important one, given the far reaching impacts of the disease upon suffers such as herself.
