Story

Running a Half Marathon has always been something I have wanted to do and is one of things on my Bucket List (things to do before I die!) Having been inspired by my brother who just ran the Great West Run for Cancer Research UK  I  decided to crack on and get on with it!

I have decided to run for The Injured Jockeys Fund because as most of you will be aware I am very into my equestrian persuits - specifically eventing and racing and so I felt it was a very revelent charity to run for. The work that the IJF do is so crucial in racing due to its high risk. Jockeys risk life threatening injurys everytime they get on a horse and it is great comfort to know that there is a charity behind them that will help treat and rehabiliate anyone who gets injured. Having managed to smash my teeth up from face planting during a race I would really encourage you to make a donation, no matter how small, to help this very worthwhile and important cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please please donate now, any amount will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Katherine :)
