Katherine's Run 4 Macmillan

Great North Run 2022 · 11 September 2022 ·
In 2020 when we were just getting to grips with Covid, my mum got diagnosed with breast cancer. She was devastated, afraid and isolated. Due to lockdown I wasn’t allowed to see her and felt useless and worried that she was on her own. Thankfully a Macmillan nurse was there to hold her hand during the first diagnosis, something I can’t express how grateful I am for. During her treatment Macmillan provided her with emotional and practical support, thinking of everything from hair loss to finances.
Mum is now cancer free WOOOOO!!! And I would like to raise some money for Macmillan as a thank you for everything they did for Mamma.
