We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

By now you've all heard the story of the most wonderful mam anyone could wish for, and how we cruelly lost her to the vagaries of chance mutations, and possibly genetic pre-disposition.

Perhaps you also know that last year we also lost a very close family friend to similar circumstances.

Time will never change how much we miss them.

They deserve to be remembered, they deserve to be honored, they deserve me making a real effort in their memory.  So this year I'm not only running the Race for Life, as has become my habit, but also I'm running the Great North Run.

A half marathon. 13.1 miles. 21km. Crossing the Tyne bridge, a landmark that both mam and Myra loved.

Every penny of sponsorship I raise will go towards preventing, treating, and perhaps one day curing, this hateful collection of diseases that we call cancer.

Thank you.
