Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read my JustGiving page.

At the end of August, I have the incredible opportunity to climb Mt Kilimanjaro with my dad!  We’re hoping to raise money for a project called LIV Village in Durban in doing so. 

LIV’s mission statement is to rescue a child, restore a life, raise a leader, and release a star.

The money we are looking to raise will put a child through LIV school for 3 years, which is an incredible opportunity to change a life. We'd love you to have the opportunity to partner with us.

LIV focuses on a solution to aid the crisis of the millions of orphaned and vulnerable children that live in South Africa, through the establishment of villages across the country. The first village was established in Durban in 2010, which currently looks after just under 200 children. Plans for the development of villages across the rest of the country are currently underway. The villages provide long term foster care for the children to receive a sense of belonging in a family environment, as well as education and community support. LIV was proud to celebrate its first group of High School graduates at the end of 2018!

 We first encountered LIV Village when their amazing youth choir visited us in Dubai in 2016 on the last leg of their first ever international tour.  Since then we have been involved with the Village in sponsorship and support, including a number of trips to LIV to volunteer. In 2017, I had the privilege of volunteering in the school for 3 months, assisting with music and drama classes. My sister is also going to volunteer at LIV starting in August until the end of this year.
