Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

2014 is a special year as Katharine House Hospice celebrates 25 years of provide free care services in its Silver Jubilee. This would not have been possible without the generosity of all those who have donated over the years, thank you.

As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, staff will be taking on challenge throughout the year to help raise vital funds. This page will be updated as more staff take on challenges. So far we have;

16th March 2014 - Stafford Half Marathon. So far fundraisers Amy Ratcliffe, Kat Hindmarsh, James Lunney and Occupational Therapist Jen Rawsthorne are taking on the 13.1 mile challenge.

25th May 2014 - Fundraiser Deb Rushbrook will be swimming 2,500 metres to commemorate the Silver Jubilee.

17th September - Staff Nurse Mel Cotterill and her friend Jane are Cycling from London to Paris with her friend Jane. Last year Mel cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats! is there any stopping her! You can see Mel and Jane's justgiving page on this link http://www.justgiving.com/Mel-Cotterill1

Our ultimate aim is to raise £100 for every year the hospice has been providing free care services btu our initial target is £1,000. Every donation no matter what size will help us towards reaching this target. A target which could help to support patients and their families at a time when they need it the most. Katharine House cares for people across mid-Staffordshire who are living with a life-limiting illness and it's thanks to your support that they and their families can make the most of the time they have left.

Thank you so much.
