Haha! Managed 4k non stop last night - apart from the little chat with the police to tell them who had set the trees on fire :-/

Sunday morning and just been for a run (should be hungover! What's happening to me?!!) I don't know if it's the amount of training I've been doing of late, or the fact that I started at a slower pace, but I've just gone further without stopping and keeling I over than I've done for a long time.... Happy Sunday everyone!

Just been for a run - ridiculously hot (22degrees!) and only did 3k but that's enough for today in that heat!
Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 20th May, I will be running the BUPA Manchester 10k for Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity.
In May 2010, my Dad died very suddenly. He had a DVT which travelled to his lung. He was a lovely, kind man and although he was overweight, he didn’t drink or smoke. He was fairly active with his many hobbies – including fishing, flying model planes, motor-biking and generally just causing mayhem – but he had an inactive job.
Thrombosis has been, and remains, a major cause of death in the United Kingdom yet astonishingly this fact is not widely known. Most people have little or no understanding about the causes and effects of thrombosis or how it can be prevented.
Thrombosis can happen to you, your family, your friends or colleagues. Thrombosis is often a 'silent' medical condition with no obvious signs or symptoms. It doesn't discriminate and can affect people of any age and either sex. It can very easily be confused with less serious conditions - a clot in the leg can often be mistaken for a sore leg muscle.
Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity wishes to increase awareness of thrombosis among the public and health professionals and to raise research funds to enhance patient care through improved prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease. Please check out their website for more information:

Please dig deep and donate now for this worthwhile cause. Also, if I raise my target that’ll be the push I need to actually run this race!
Thanks for looking!
