This year's 5k FC Minithon promises to be even better because I am part of the FC United women's team and we are going to “run, walk or crawl” around Chorlton Meadows - well my daughter, Emily, might be running but I'm on crutches - I guess it's the "Hopithon" for me! So help us raise money for two good causes, our club and the ACE Centre charity.

Last year our efforts enabled The ACE Centre  to purchase an Eye Gaze Unit, enabling people with severe disabilities to operate a computer solely by use of their eyes. Based in Oldham, ACE’s speech and language therapists, specialist teachers and occupational therapists work across England to enable those children, young people and adults with severe and complex communication difficulties to communicate effectively and "have a voice".
