Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I am doing a 400km cycle ride across the island of Cuba from the 3rd to the 11th October 2013  - a challenge for an amazing cause.

This is a great opportunity to raise awareness and significant funds to help in the fight against breast, ovarian and cervical cancers. I am cycling this with 80 other women.
Some of us have lost loved ones to cancer, or are supporting them through their illness. Some of us are cancer survivors - ALL of us are determined to raise as much money as we can to help forward research, and all of us are determined to help other women to be aware of the signs and symptoms of these particular cancers. Awareness, like research, can save lives.

The funds raised by Women V Cancer will be divided equally between three charities:
Ovarian Cancer Action
Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust
Breast Cancer Care

We're also supporting cancer care in Cuba, so £50 of the funds each of us raises independently will be added to a further donation from Action for Charity and used to fund a project helping women fight cancer in Cuba.
