Run8 4 Rosie!

Run 4 Rosie is back, but this year things will be a little bit different due to the global pandemic.

Over the course of March 2021 Chagford Runners are inviting you to join in the Run8 Nomin8 Don8 challenge! Whether it’s running 8 miles or km’s, 8 halves, or marathons,  8 walks or cycles the challenge is on – to complete an 8 of your choice! 

The challenge is held in in memory of Rosie Webber who sadly lost her battle with Lung Cancer in September 2018 and to raise funds for the wonderful Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

The challenge can be as adventurous or as tough as you want to make it - there are no limits!!

Please photograph yourself or your Strava, completing your challenge and upload them to our Run 4 Rosie Facebook or Instagram page and then nominate your friends to complete #Run84Rosie. Then please donate to the RCLCF via this Just Giving page. We understand times are incredibly challenging at the present time so any donation, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only charity solely dedicated to helping everyone affected by this awful disease. Lung cancer is the biggest cancer killer in the UK and receives the least funding of the four main cancer killers, this needs to change.
