The McMillan nurses and the Marie Curie Center  helped my family cope when my brother was diagnosed and subsequently died of cancer. They gave invaluable support and were always available on the end of a line should any of us need to talk. I would hate that through lack of funding these organizations were not available to everyone who needs their help.
