Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the start of the lockdown, I suggested to my husband that he should try out growing a beard - this suggestion was turned down out of hand ........ until we suggested that he could do it for charity - and that Charity would of course be the Camphill Community Glencraig.

This is where our much loved son Cillian (who is non verbal with autism) has lived a happy  and fulfilled life since he was a boy and where he continues to have opportunities for ongoing learning.

He is currently involved in recycling in the estate, as well as planting, gardening and harvesting and enjoying the produce of the land.

This fantastic charity provides a home and a whole range of opportunities for  our friends with different abilities who are unable to live in the hub-bub of an urban community and who have much to contribute to the lives of others.

Like all charities, in order to provide the best care it can for its beneficiaries, it needs all the help it can get!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you are a tax payer an wish to Gift Aid your donation please request a Gift Aid Form which the Charity can use to reclaim the tax.
