Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page, created to keep the memory of Michael "Gags" Gibson alive through the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, a charity which was very dear to him. Mick volunteered over many years from 2004, particularly at Dole Wood, Deeping Lakes and Willow Tree Fen.

In addition to clearing ditches and creating paths, in February 2008, 500 trees were planted in just two days at Dole Wood. Whilst at Willow Tree Fen arable land has been transformed to a more traditional fenland landscape and in 2020, with the extra solitude created by lockdown, cranes returned to the Lincolnshire Fens after an absence of over 400 years.

If you'd like to donate to the Trust we are sure you would agree that it's a fitting tribute.
