Hi all. My page is coming to an end but more unfortunately Kirsty has sadly passed away - Kirsty had her bone marrow transplant on 4th July and put up a tremendous fight to beat this awful disease. Kirsty will always be remembered as such a strong bubbly person so loving and caring. All our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. Xx
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and donating to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and the Nottinghamshire Leukaemia Appeal.
The main reason I'm donating any money raised to Leukaemia is a friend of mine, Kirsty, is suffering with a blood cancer and is hoping to be a recipient of a bone marrow transplant soon. The money you donate will go directly to the Nottingham Leukaemia Appeal. The Nottingham City Hospital is a centre of excellence in bone marrow transplant and their research and work has meant a cure and life for many people like Kirsty suffering with a blood cancer. You can become a bone marrow donor through the Anthony Nolan Trust - this only involves a spit test (Spit into a tube) to go on the bone marrow transplant donor register - it's as easy as that. The only problem is you need to be under 40!! I'm officially on the scrap heap for that bit - so hopefully sponsoring me through this run can help raise money for Kirsty and others in their treatment and care. Thank you for your support.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you for visiting my page!!!!... and a huge thank you for any money donated. Love Kate xx
