We fight for the hope of young people to create a society built for all children

Story

Because of poverty too many children and young people never get an opportunity for a grand day out vomiting up chips and candy floss at 235 feet up in the air.

So On Sept 24th I will be joining ‘REVS ON A COASTER’ as a train full of vicars ride The Big One, on Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The Children’s Society works with the most disadvantaged children to ensure that they are loved, valued and listened to. With them we fight childhood poverty, harm and neglect. In hard times, children are among the hardest hit and miss out on so much of what it means to be children. For many, a day on a theme park is a distant dream. By supporting the work of The Children’s Society we don’t just help them survive, we help them flourish. So please sponsor me to get my feet off the ground, and so help bring joy to children living with poverty or neglect.

(PS This is in no way because I absolutely love blooming roller coasters and was trying to figure out a way to spend a day riding them at the seaside with my mates while simultaneously looking benevolent and generous)
