Story
For one night this October I’ll go cold, wet and hungry to raise funds for Action for Children.
For me, it will be just one night, but for 75,000 young people aged under 25 this is a reality every single night of the year and that’s why I’m asking you to sponsor me to take part.
The event, Byte Night, which takes place on 2 October will see me and others spend a night uncovered and exposed to the elements in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh.
My friend Sarah Howard and I are also organising a Girlie Swap Shop event on Thursday 17 September at Cargo, in Edinburgh to raise £1000 for Byte Night.
Together we are aiming to raise money to help Action for Children prevent youth homelessness and get thousands of young people off the streets and into secure accommodation with education and training opportunities.
A donation of just £25 today could keep the doors of one of Action for Children’s youth homelessness projects open for one hour, helping them reach out to children who are homeless now or at risk of becoming homeless.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Many thanks for your support
