Story
I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12th October and wasn't planning another fundraising effort (after the phenomenal generosity of family, friends and colleagues for our team challenge last year), but thought that if I ask everyone I know if they would consider sponsoring me just £2, then we can still help the Lily Foundation progress their tireless work.
James and I are huge supporters of The Lily Foundation, a fantastic charity which is committed to finding a cure for Mitochondrial Disease. Our youngest daughter, Poppy, was diagnosed with a Mitochondrial Disorder in 2012, hence we continue to support and help raise awareness of this charity. Through continued research, we hope that one day there will be some treatment available for mitochondrial disease and ultimately a cure.
The Lily Foundation has a three point mission:
1) fund research to improve diagnosis and treatment options
2) raise awareness of these conditions so they are more easily recognised
3) support families with sick children.

I'd be really grateful to anyone who is able
to sponsor me and support this great cause.
Thanks
Kat xx
