Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I promised a friend some time ago that I would challenge myself and run the Reading Half Marathon this year. Most of you know that I love sports but my true passion has always been football - so taking on a 21km run is really tough psychologically more than anything else!
What most of you won't know is that before I was born, my brother Neil died from 'cot death' at only 5 months old. Something I'm sure my parents will never fully recover from. They have always been there for me and when I look at my precious daughter I cannot even comprehend the strength that they must have had to find.
So in memory of my brother I would like friends and family to dig deep to support the research into the prevention of 'sudden infant death' so that other parents can be better prepared; better educated and see their children live long and happy lives.
