Fundraising for Alzheimer's Society
Story
As part of my 40th year I made my besties (Karen & Kay) do this! As my besties they thought they better make sure I completed this challenge and didn't just go to the pub! Obviously we are wanting to raise funds for a fantastic charity whilst individually challenging us to our limits !
On a serious note, our challenge is to climb Ben Nevis at night-time using only the light of the moon and our torches! The summit is 1,344 metres above sea level or the equivalent to 558 flights of stairs this means 7264 individual stairs!!!!!!! :-0 This tough terrain which, although technically easy, is a strenuous challenge requiring stamina and determination. The weather conditions can be unpredictable and the summit will be cold even in July!
We are determined to do this and promise to post a piccie of us having a snowball fight at the summit!
