Fundraising for Meningitis Research Foundation
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 26 March 2000 was the day my life changed forever, my little brother Keith , aged 14yrs, died after contracting Meningitis. It devastated my family, and there is not a day that goes by that we don't think about Keith. 9 years later and nothing makes it easier to deal with when you lose your little brother in such tragic circumstances.
On 4 October 2009 I am competing in the Baxters Loch Ness 10k Run, and I will be running to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation which will be in memory of Keith. I have raised money previously for this charity, and they basically fund research to prevent meningitis and septicaemia, improve survival rates and outcomes. They promote education and awareness to reduce death and disability, and give support to people affected.
Please donate as little or as much as you can afford as every penny counts!!!!!
