Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When I ran Manchester Marathon in 2016, I swore (literally) I would never run a marathon again.

Inspired by Rob and Lindsey Burrow's story which I have followed with such sadness, the Rob Burrow Leeds marathon has recently been on my radar.

Since ex ITFC hero Marcus Stewart's diagnosis of this cruel, cruel disease, I thought maybe just maybe I have one more marathon in me.  I made contact with his lovely wife Louise who suggested I join their fundraising team raising funds for Darby Rimmer Foundation. I will be running it with my daughter Beth and I also have a few friends running this so how bad can it be?  May not be able to walk for a few days but that really is a small price to pay.
