Well, I’ve gone from supporting runners for years to being an actual runner myself. Who would have thought it? Not me that's for sure. As you will know I am currently training for the ultimate in running, 26.2 miles round our nation’s capital, the Virgin London Marathon 2014 (I got in on a technicality when it turns out Virgin is a company not a condition of entry).
The Lullaby Trust is a charity supporting parents who suffer the tragedy of losing children to cot death. Two of my close friends have been through this awful experience and there are no words I can offer that will capture their upset and loss. By running for this charity I hope to raise awareness and ensure ongoing support for parents.
I would be grateful of any donation, any amount. Without your support my run will be just a run, with your support it can be something amazing that supports not only me but the above charity to continue their great work.
I know passing 20 miles will see me digging deep to get to the finish, your sponsorship will mean so much in helping me do this………
