Well this will be the 5th time, would have been 6th but for 2020!! I have done this ride and you have helped me to raise £8,121 over the last few years.  The group as a whole has raised over £1 million over the 5 year period the Grand Depart ride has been running.

Cancer of different types has affected most people and research is the only way to stop this and money is needed for this vital research.

So what has your money done in the last year, well there has been great leaps in research in for prostate cancer, with advances in immunotherapy, use of genes to personalise treatment, new treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer to give them more time, reduction in side effects with targeted treatments and advancements in a home urine test, for the active monitoring of men with prostate cancer.  Charities have also been hit very hard throughout the pandemic with many fundraising events being cancelled.

Prostate Cancer UK is the leading prostrate cancer charity in the UK and has invested over £37 million in the last 20 or so years.  This raises awareness, provides ground breaking research and support for men and their families affected by this cancer.
