Joining Jack has the ultimate aim of finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, one of the most common fatal genetic conditions in the world. Recent scientific breakthroughs mean that the development of a treatment is closer than ever, and this will not only help Jack but all sufferers of DMD.

Story

Hi,

My name is Jacob and i am 7 years old. On Saturday 14th June I will be taking part in a sponsored Kiddie Climb up Mount Snowdon with four of my school friends to raise as much money as possible for Joining Jack, a charity for children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

This means a lot to me because I'm friends with a little boy called Evan in my class at school who is living with this illness. It would make me feel so proud to know that I have raised some money to help Evan and other children get the medicines they need.

I know it will be hard work but with all your support and a lot of determination I know I can do it.

Any donation, big or small, will make a difference.

Thank you.

Jacob
