The Fountain of Peace Foundation supports orphaned and abandoned children in the Kyenjojo region of Uganda, and is the only registered children's care home in the region. We are very privileged in that we will be going out to visit the orphanage in July this year so that we can see first hand how the funds raised are being spent to enhance the lives of these babies and children. 

We have set ourselves the challenge of organising a Virtual Ugandan Decathlon to help to raise much needed funds for this amazing charity. 
We are organising 10 different events/activities which include completing:

1. Sponsored virtual cycle with lots of help from friends totalling a distance of 3500 miles as the crow flies from Bolton to Uganda 
2. Sponsored virtual swim of 21 miles which is the distance of the English Channel crossing 
3. Sponsored 16 mile walk
4. Bake sale 
5. Name the teddy competition 
6. Charity cricket match
7. Charity rounders match
8. Brass and Jazz band concert
9. Music night with local bands
10. Prize draw

We decided to set up this page after lots of requests from others asking how they could help, so here it is! We would like to thank you for your continued encouragement and support and for your generosity with volunteering to join us and take part in our events. We would also like to thank you in advance for any donations that you are able to make towards the cause.
