Story
I am delighted to be participating in The Climb of Life to raise funds for the Institute of Cancer Research. Over 29 years £1.4m has been raised by this event for the Institute of Cancer Research - a phenomenal amount of money. In the 30th year, the aim is for various groups to cover 30 mountains.
The climbing / trekking in The Lake District will take place on the 3rd November. The weather is normally terrible, visibility is none and the trek is normally extremely challenging. They tend to pick the coldest, wettest day.... I'm wishing for cold and sunny, lets wait and see. No matter what I will take on this challenge and promise to do my very best.
The Institute for Cancer Research has been doing significant work and making medical advances in discovering how to prevent the spread of this awful disease. Unfortunately most of us know of someone who has been touched by cancer, the more we can do to say 'NO' to cancer the better. I hope you're able to donate to this worthy cause.
