Story
MY 5K RUN
My mum used to have kidney failure . She has been through a lot of blood tests and injections . So I have decided to do a run for charity to help people that are going through what we have . Also I am a very keen runner I compete in all cross country's, go to boot camp and my local athletics club .
My mum had gone on holiday with me my brother and my dad but when we got back my mum had headaches, so the Doctor did a test and found out she had kidney failure. It was horrible, she had a fit and she had to stay in hospital for 5 days and my dad had to look after us . She started to do water dialysis then hemo-dialysis, 3 years later she found out she could have a kidney from an altruistic donor, and she was over the moon!
My run will be taking place 19th October 2014, in West Sussex, East Grinstead at a local park called East Court.
