Story
Our beloved Grandad’s legacy was his generosity and an insatiable capacity to help all those who needed it. He achieved this in many ways, such as;
- Providing many underprivileged children in India with clothing, blankets and paying for their school fees
- Sending water coolers and fans to schools
- Building gaushalas (cow sheds)
- Becoming a founding member of Southall's King Street Shree Ram mandir.
However, the cause which lay closest to his heart was to provide education for young children. For his 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, he always ensured he gave us the best start in life, but this also extended this to large donations to various charities in India.
If you wish to make a contribution, we will be making donations in his memory to the charity Asha for Education so they can continue their good work improving education for underprivileged children in India.
