It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Kala Patel. She was an incredible woman and will be remembered for many things along with her sense of humour, raucous laugh and amazing cooking. She touched the lives of so many and had a unique ability to connect with people of all ages and across all walks of life. Kala was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed.

She battled cancer for several years and we as a family are indebted to the care Myton Hospice provided her and us over this time. They made her feel so comfortable and dignified and the staff and volunteers have our unwavering gratitude. 

Given COVID restrictions, her funeral will be limited but we can provide a streaming link for those that wish to join remotely. We thank you all for your support and kind words over the last few days. If anyone is so inclined, we would appreciate a donation to the Myton Hospice in lieu of flowers or anything else. This will help other patients and families in her memory.
