Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity (no. 284670) which provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex. They help patients to live as actively as possible from the point of diagnosis to the end of their life, by providing physical and emotional care, free of charge. With approximately 40% of their yearly running costs being funded by the local NHS, they rely on the support and goodwill of the local mid Essex community to contribute to the £16,039 it costs to provide their services each day.
On the 21st July 2018 I will be completing the ‘Parachute Challenge’ with all sponsorships being donated to Farleigh Hospice. My beloved Grandad was moved to this hospice in early 2018, where he died in peace 3 weeks later. Whilst he was there, we were amazed with the level of care and attention by the staff at Farleigh. During this difficult time they bought a smile to his face and helped him, along with his family and friends through. I have always wanted to do a skydive, but I have always wanted a reason to do one and now I have that reason. The hospice 100% deserves something in return for everything they did for my Pops and everything they continue to do for all their patients. Please please help me out by donating through the link below, for the staff, for my grandad and for anyone else who will unfortunately have to go through hospice care.
