Story
Kirsty had a bigger heart than the universe; you don’t come across people like her every day and she gave so much to those she loved. Kirsty was a devoted and loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to many, she radiated positivity and warmth in everything she did and there are simply no words to express how deeply she will be missed.
Since Kirsty’s initial Ovarian Cancer diagnosis in December 2014, she faced her illness with unflinching optimism, strength and humility. Kirsty was truly remarkable, not because of the way she coped with her illness (with such grace and courage) but because of her determination to live a full and joyful life with her family in spite of it.
In her memory and in lieu of flowers we are asking friends and family to support those affected by and living with Ovarian Cancer. Kirsty’s wish was for those who loved her to raise vital funds for Target Ovarian Cancer and the important work they do raising awareness and providing support for those diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
Anyone that knew Kirsty would know that she was always thinking of others, and we know raising money for this important cause would make her heart sing.
