The Islamic Society aims to provide a space for Muslims on campus and to be from those who call to Allah Azzawajal.

KCL ISOC does this through the following subprojects:

Heads Team
The heads team is the primary point of contact for the ISoc regarding questions, concerns, and facilitating student involvement in the society; they bring students together and can provide a platform for spiritual development.

Welfare
Welfare provide social and emotional support, emphasising the verse in the Qur'an: ‘A soul is not given more than it can bear...’. We aim to help brothers and sisters overcome the trials of life, and also use those obstacles as a means of getting closer to Allah.

Quran Programme
The KCLISoc Qur'an Programme enables students to improve their relationship with the book of Allah, regardless of where they are in their journey. Be it memorisation, recitation or reflection the Qur'an Programme aims to facilitate progress through Qur'an circles, the mentorship scheme and lectures and events.

ARK (Acts of Random Kindness)
The ARK Project aims to provide a platform for students to serve the community, by putting our belief, faith and knowledge of Islam into action, in the same way our prophets and righteous predecessors did. This is done through our three sub-teams: Outreach, Neighbours and Tackling Homelessness

Discover Islam Week
A week packed with Islamic talks and activities in order to raise awareness and understanding of Islam – we hope to not only clear misconceptions but also consolidate our faith and strengthen our love for our religion.

Charity Week
Charity Week aims to bring together the community on campus and show that greater change can be made by working together. We unite to achieve a common goal, acting as an inspiration to the next generation of change-makers! At the heart of CW is the reminder to strive to better our relationship with Allah and act with sincerity in everything we do.

Academia
Academia aims to provide a space wherein students can excel academically in their various subjects and fields, by the permission of Allah SWT. For our first year, we will be specifically focussing on Medics, Dentists, and career related support for Strand and Waterloo courses, and welcome students from all years to benefit from the sessions we hold!

ISoc also aims to facilitate the maintenance of prayer rooms across all three campuses, and throughout the year we organise various lectures, classes, socials and dinners.
As well as providing support with studies and career aspirations, to facilitate spiritual development and allow people to draw closer to Allah.
