In September 2024, I will be taking on a 26 mile ‘Mighty Hike’ along the beautiful Northumberland coastline to raise money for people living with cancer. This cause is especially close to my heart following my own malignant melanoma diagnosis last year. I am very grateful to say that this was caught early and has been fully treated, many others are not so lucky. I completed my first Mighty Hike back in July 2019 and am hoping that this time I will not suffer the horrible blisters of that attempt! This time I will also have my brother Neil walking with me by way of training for our deferred Great North Run in 2025.

I have pledged to raise at least £250 for this great cause and would deeply appreciate any support in reaching this goal. By raising this amount, I could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for two days, providing crucial emotional, practical, and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
