Here I come...
If last year anyone told me about running races I'd laugh and say 'never'. Here I am: May this year I ran my first 10km (Bognor Regis), few months after that was my first 11km (Littlehampton) and about month ago I ran my first ever 10 miles (Great South Run, Portsmouth). Now I've decided to go an extra mile ;) and run Hastings Half Marathon to raise money for brain tumor research. I'd like to raise people's awareness about brain tumor as if detected at early stage and treated properly can save someone's life. Unfortunately my dad paid no attention to the symptoms. Had he done so he may have survived. So now I carry on his passion for running. If you can, please, support me by believing that my short legs can move fast, chip in few pennies for brain tumor research and come and watch me running in Hastings on 25th March.
Thanks for taking your time to read this and hopefully you can understand my polish english ;)

I've done my half marathon in smashing (for me) time of 1h 59min 14sec! just under 2h. I thought it was gonna take me 2h10min to finish it so I'm really happy of my result. 2/3 of the race was up hill as well - tough!
You can still donate money to brain tumour research until June 2012 so please, help me to smash the target.
