Story
This summer I’ll be teaching in a school in the Helambu valley, Nepal, which was struck by the 2015 earthquake. The charity that I’m volunteering with is called HELP (Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership): https://help.org.np/web/welcome
HELP improves the education available through teacher training, provision of school supplies, and volunteering programmes. In the aftermath of the earthquake, the charity built 225+ temporary classrooms in the area, and now works with 90 schools, helping over 10,000 children so far.
100% of the funds raised will go directly to the school that I’ll be volunteering at (none will be spent on travel expenses or charity administrative costs) so any contributions will make a real difference. Thank you for supporting this brilliant cause!
