For over 2 years my older brother battled with brain cancer.

He continued to defy all the odds, and remained so positive and upbeat throughout. 

He kept on fighting until he was taken from us on June 25th. We are all truly devastated and heartbroken and want to do something special to remember him, and to raise awareness for this terrible disease. 

We were raised as kids in Parkgate on the Wirral and he loved the Lakes and had a passion for biking, hence the decision to factor both in to this bike ride. The ride is around 100 miles and will be ridden over 2 days (Sept 23rd & 24th) There are around 20 of us taking part. 

I'm sure there will be many tears and much laughter along the way but it will be a very special occasion. 

He will always hold a very special place in my heart.

I will miss him dearly as will the rest of his family and everyone else that had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Q, you were a fantastic brother, son, father, husband, uncle, brother in law, step father, and a much loved friend to so many people.
