Story
You are probably aware I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in July 2013 and since then I have been through 4 months of chemotherapy, lumpectomy surgery with sentinel node biopsy and 3 weeks of radiotherapy which finished this weekend on 8th March (yay!).
To celebrate this I am joining Emma Day (herself a 2 time survivor of cancer and also a mother of twins) as part of her #EmmasArmy against cancer as she walks 100 miles of the Cotswold Way in May.
Breast cancer survival rates have increased from 50% to 80% in the last 30 years and chemotherapy drugs have massively improved even in as little as 15 years. Cancer Research helps fund the trials that led to this massive improvement and I am very grateful for their work.
You guys put me into the top 5% of JustGiving pages last year - lets do the same for #EmmasArmy and help raise her £50k target!
