I am really pleased to be raising funds for Butterfly Children's Hospices by running the Southampton half marathon on 24th April 2016.

I was fortunate enough to visit their hospice in Changsha (China) in 2013 and as soon as I stepped in the door, I felt very moved and a real overwhelming sense of the children being surrounded by love and care by the team of dedicated staff. 

Each day is precious for the children and at the hospice they strive for hope, never giving up on helping the children to feel love and joy as they value and cherish each child, no matter how long or short their life.

I feel very privileged to be part of their journey and today you can be part of this as well, making a real difference through the monies you might kindly give.
