Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving Page in memory of My dear wife Julie Shute.

Please watch our video then you'll realise why we need your help.

Julie passed peacefully away in her sleep on 9th September 2015 after a two year fight with Glio Blastoma Multiforme Grade IV, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer or, as she called it 'Fluff'. I was next to and holding Julie's hand as she slipped away from me.

The chairs we fund will be invaluable. Clatterbridge are building a new Cancer Centre in Liverpool City Centre due to open in 2018, we are fundraising to buy Reclining Chairs so that patient's families can stay close by their beds in comfort for long periods.

Julie has already inspired others to raise thousands of £'s & has fund raised herself, her philanthropic approach  earned her an award as Runner up in The Merseyside Woman of The Year Awards 2015. It was Julie's wish that 'we' continue her fundraising on behalf of Clatterbridge.

If you’d like to make a donation to Clatterbridge Cancer Charity I’d be very grateful, it will help them fund research, also care & support to ensure cancer patients get the best care.. Thank you.
