Story
I think that most people know that I have a daughter with special needs, a genetic condition called Syngap1. As an infant when she failed to hit her development milestones we became very stressed out. It was a very isolating experience. Skylarks threw us a lifeline. I'll never forget the difference they made in our lives. They support the disabled children and the family that surrounds them.
So I am doing this ride for them!
I am going to push my limits, hop on a bicycle and ride from London to Paris on June 10 & 11. Day two will be the hardest. 185km. About 7 hrs in the saddle for me. But I am riding in support of two charities that are important to me: Skylarks and the Barnes Primary School PTFA (a charity for Gracie and one for Zach - a legacy as he leaves Barnes Primary this July).
