Nicola, thank you, yes even training runs are tearful, can't wait to cross the line for the wee man and hope of prevention in future. Your donation is very much appreciated xx
A Note From Ben's Mummy, Rachel:
After waiting over 5 months to find out the reason why our lovely baby Ben died, the results have came back inconclusive. To help find a reason why this happens to babies and also to help find prevention, we are trying to raise as much money possible for this charity. Good friends of mine Julie and Orlaith have very kindly chosen FSID as their charity to run the London Marathon, and with your help of any type of donation, maybe we can stop others going through the heartbreak that myself and Alan have to go through every day without our beautiful little boy Ben. Big thank you to everyone who has already given!! The support from everyone has been amazing xoxo

Hey!
Julie and Orlaith are running the London Marathon on 17th of April 2011.
We do so with the primary purpose of raising money and awareness for the very deserving charity FSID.
Why FSID??
On the 3rd of August 2010 the world lost a bright little boy, Ben Megarry, who brought joy, not only to his parents Alan and Rachel, his siblings Justin and Emily but everyone who had the pleasure to receive his beautiful smile. I was one of the those lucky enough to have met him.
There is nothing I can do to ease the pain my friends now carry however together with Orlaith we aim to raise awareness and money for the charity FSID in Memory and Honour of Ben Megarry.
The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths is the UK's leading baby charity aiming to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health. FSID fulfils these aims by:
I know that we are in an economic climate that leaves us all a bit strapped at times, please give what you can and if you can spread the word about this page, post it on your Facebook status and ask your friends to donate, a vast amount of people giving just a little will add up to a huge amount!!!
We will be organising a splendid event in Ben's Honour so keep an eye on the page for further details.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
